The Always Strive and Prosper Foundation (The Foundation) is a charitable 501(c)3 organization dedicated to fostering greater awareness of drug and substance abuse, as well as providing support for alternatives promoting prevention and education. We strive for the consistent application of professional, accredited scientific research and the dissemination of factual information to minimize the impact of drug abuse, misuse, propaganda and addiction within our local communities and globally. Our goal is to establish a social platform and unwavering agenda for communicating actual facts without basis on judgment or morality as well as progressive living through arts and education.
The Foundation is focused on continuing to create and incubate events and programs that will corral youth based demographics in the areas of music and arts. With a focus on delivering positive messages and proper information to adolescents and young adults about the dangers associated with carelessly mixing opiates and other potentially irresponsible drug use and abuse. Through the participation of notable artists, specialized guest speakers, appealing social media campaigns and compelling initiatives, the Foundation will focus on unifying the common interests of the youth to promote positive communication and education that offers alternatives to substance abuse and the historic misinformation and misconceptions that have often lead to negative outcomes, including death.
The Foundation specializes in gaining credible entrée into the lifestyle and interests of the youth by sponsoring public school programs, supporting music and arts study scholarships, producing concerts and small festivals such as the annual Yams Day concert which in January 2016 and 2017 had two sold-out-events in NYC with over 5,000 attendees and the support of over 40 popular urban artists and musicians including, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Tyler The Creator, A$AP Ferg, French Montana, and many others of note.
The Foundation develops collaborative gatherings with youth-based mentoring centers and organizations to provide well researched information seminars and relevant discussions about substance use and abuse and their psychological, social, and physical effects as well potential detriments and most notable misconceptions.
